Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses – Helping Utah Businesses Grow

 Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is a program for small businesses that links learning to action. Through the program, participants will gain practical skills in topics such as negotiation, marketing, and employee management that can immediately be put into action. In addition, they will receive the tools and professional support to develop a strategic and customized growth plan that will take their business to the next level.

Curriculum

This 12-week program focused on business growth. This best-in-class curriculum designed by Babson College, is taught from a network of fellow business leaders, business advisors, and trained faculty.

Alumni Support

 

As soon as participants complete the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, they become part of an elite group of over 16,000 fellow business owners, and over 300 right here in Iowa. The goal of the 10KSB Alumni Program is to continue supporting business growth and professional development. 

​Alumni have the opportunity to attend monthly webinars and virtual meet-ups, as well as quarterly in-person networking and clinics. Additionally, members of the 10KSB alumni community utilize an exclusive digital platform to network, get support, and grow their business with other alumni.

The program lasts for 14 weeks and classes are usually every Thursday (with some exceptions). It's an intensive course and requires participants to work on their business both in and out of the classroom. See a detailed schedule.

The 10,000 Small Businesses program is only for small business owners. Applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to growing their business and creating jobs in their community.


Applicants must also meet the following minimums:

  • Owner or Co-Owner
  • In business for 2 years or longer
  • $100,000 in annual revenue 
  • Two full-time employees*


* May be a combination of the owner with full-time employee(s), part-time employee(s) and contractor(s).

The 10KSB program is strictly for your education and your information is not sold or used for anything else other than the 10KSB program itself.
